Description of Proposed Change:
For the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification Standard
Single occupant open plan office workstations are modeled to the open-plan office environment as defined in ANSI/BIFMA M7.1-2007. Alternative configurations and air flow rates must meet these requirements or be more conservative.
Seating is modeled to the office environment as defined in ANSI/BIFMA 7.1-2007. Alternative configurations and air flow rates must meet these requirements or be more conservative.
The private office model as defined in the emission testing method for California 01350 is the standard single occupancy room model for products. This does not apply to furniture or seating. Alternative configurations and air flow rates must meet these requirements or be more conservative.
For the GREENGUARD Children and Schools Standard
Compliance with the target CREL VOCs, as defined in the emission testing method for California 01350, must meet the concentration requirements no less than 168 hours (7 days) and no greater than 336 hours (14 days). Data time points between 168 hours (7 days) and 336 hours (14 days) must demonstrate that emissions have peaked prior to the compliance time point.
